elisabeth and steven - an orchard lawn wedding
Not going to lie, guys. I'd been looking forward to photographing Elisabeth and Steven tie the knot for quite a spell. After spending time with them during their engagement shoot last April, I knew that their day was going to be the very embodiment of who they are as a couple: sweet, all kinds of fun, beautiful and chalk full o' love.
Despite being very laid back, Steven and Elisabeth are a super hard-working couple (they co-own and operate a vegetable and flower farm called Kings Hill Farm in the rolling fields of Wisconsin’s Driftless Region). But that most certainly does NOT mean they don’t know how to throw an incredible party!
They exchanged their vows on the sweeping lawn of a beautiful old mansion in the lovely, tiny town of Mineral Point, WI and it was just perfect. From the weather, to the flowers (many of which the bride grew herself) to the beautiful old barn board tables, it was a sweet, intimate affair from start to finish. And do not get me started on my obsession with Elisabeth’s flower crown! Please scroll on down to see a few of my favorite moments from their day.
A huge congrats to these amazing newlyweds!
