anesha & Joseph - an ovation chicago wedding

One brisk day last November, I had the supreme pleasure of hanging out with an amazing group of people. There was, of course, a beautiful bride who looked drop-dead-gorgeous in her elegant form-fitting dress that flared out ever so slighty as it skimmed to the floor. There was an amazing group of best pals who made her laugh all day long. There was golden candlelight (my favorite <3), delicious food, top notch dance moves and a very dashing groom who looked besotted with his brand new wife from the moment she walked down that aisle until the very last dance of the evening.

Anesha and Joe obviously have an incredible connection. Intelligent, sweet and devoted to one another other, their celebration of love was such a joy to capture.

There were so many unique touches throughout the entire day. Anesha incorporated their love of reading by getting books in on the centerpiece action. They had their ceremony and reception at the stunning Ovation Chicago venue in the city’s West Side. After the ceremony, I borrowed the newlyweds and took them on a quick stroll to grab some dramatic nighttime portraits.
